Sunday night musings

Over taco salad, no less. I made it to my bestie's recipe, which is so amazeballs that she always has to make a double batch for her bunch, and it's always still all gone. There's enough for a couple more bowls for me later for snacks or whatever the next few days. Sure do wish I was only working from home, because that would make an awesome lunch. Can't trust people at work to leave my stuff alone in the fridge though, so I can't take it with me. Sigh and other unmentionables.

Only a few pictures today, but that's ok. Weather was much better today though I fear the next 8 to 10 days will be much worse than weather has been, temperature-wise. Temps from Tuesday through next Monday are looking to hit highs in the triple digits - yikes! All other days these next couple weeks are due to hit high 90s, with no more rain in sight than what we got today. We had a blow through storm for a couple hours this evening, with penny-sized hail and gusts up to 40mph. It was a nice cool down for the evening and night. Wish it would rain a lot more off and on the next several weeks. We here in NW Arkansas are already living in Satan's buttcrack and rapidly heading for his armpit, and it's not even August yet, when it is generally the hottest. Work commute in and work itself are going to be miserable. Definitely not looking forward to all of that mess. With my heart issues, heat and I do not get along well any more. Temps that high, I really just want to stay home and work on the shop in the cool!

Speaking of the shop, it's coming along nicely. Haven't made anything live yet, but nearing the end of the move over of existing products. I look forward to making these products active and adding all kinds of new goodies with the same designs, AND NO LISTING FEES, unlike over at Etsy where I had to severely limit myself on product types due to all those fees.

Anyhow, here are pictures, enjoy!

I want to find where to get this mug when I have a few moments to do so, and get it for myself.

I was happiest when I was off grid in my cabin. I miss it and am determined that one day, I will go back to that lifestyle or as close as I can get anyhow.

And yarn stores...
